The beer is black, very black, has a brown high head, leaving some lacing. Good curtains.

The smell is roasted; bread, dark coffee and wood. Sweet dried fruits, dates, figs, raisins, some earthy aromas as well.

Tastes burned brown toast, strong coffee, some vinous tones; Madeira, Sherry and Port. A cherry seeds bitter finish.

Medium high carbonation, a huge body, soft and slightly oily finishing off in an dry dryness.

Complex, demanding and rewarding. Liquid candy.
