A real Christmas classic. Brewed according to the Belgian model and with enough body and character to match the hearty Christmas food and contribute to the good atmosphere for both Christmas lunch and Christmas dinner. Extra warm fermentation has given an aroma with notes of berries and stone fruit, piquantly spicy as befits winter time. Complex, candy-sweet with hints of chocolate, balanced with a restrained bitterness.

Aroma is medium intense with sweet malty odor and a slightly burnt tang. Brown sugar, caramel, toffee. Hard roast. Anise Hard candy.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, almost flat texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a strong sweetness followed by a moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet. Lingers for a while. Finish is sweetish.
Fairly middle of the road Danish Christmas beer. Sweet and slightly spicy.
