Belgian-inspired extra strong and Vinø's Old Ale with distinct malt sweetness, a touch of dark berries and stone fruit as well as hints of caramel and chocolate.

Copenhagen 22/1 2022. 50 cl bottle from Østerbro Vin & Spiritus (formerly Gunnar Madsen Vinhandel). Old-fashioned beer label with a horizontal dark purple band with the name of the beer and the brewery and beer style presented in curved bands running along the shape of the label.
Pours murky dark brown with a mid-sized off-white head. Settles as thin patches of foam floating around. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, malty and potently boozy odor. Toffee, caramel and brown sugar. Dark alcohol saturated with sugar. Light whiff of sour grains.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, slightly greasy, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet but with a notable bitter undertone. Lingering. Finish is sugary and boozy.
Potent and very sweet. It almost manages to camouflage the considerable ABV.
