For the hop loving beer drinkers here is an APA with edge as the brew is fermented on whiskey yeast sent to us from the Tullamore distillery Ireland.
The beer is very aromatic hops, which gives a fresh, summery feel. The taste picture ends with notes of oak and subtly warming alcohol derived from cask storage in Tullamor's legendary triple distilled whiskey casks. Visually, the beer is nicely golden with a creamy, lasting foam that is achieved by adding oats at the end of the mashing.
Can be enjoyed with care side by side with Tullamore D.E.W. whiskey.

Copenhagen 20/10 2018. 33 cl bottle from Meny, Bryggervangen, Kbh Ø. Yellow Moon like Globe on the label where they succeed to name-drop Tullamore Dew a couple of times. Unfortunately I do not have an Irish Whiskey to enjoy with this APA.
Pours hazy golden yellow with medium-sized white head covering the surface of the beer. Settles as 1 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Crawling up the side of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is sweetish with some citric and some notable funky notes. Light odor of exotic fruit in a stage of light fermentation. The citric odor is a little subdued and the brett peeks in with a little oak.
Light carbonation. Soft, velvety, slightly thick texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by slightly stronger citric, bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and lingers for a while.
A slightly wild APA with a good bitterness. The funk is fairly dominant and a little weird in this style of beer. But an interesting Barrel Aged APA.
