Single Batch Brew - Imperial Oatmeal Whisky Stout
Enjoy your beer cold but not too cold - Drink responsibly.
Who says you can't be heavy, and still with grace and elegance?
This Imperial Oatmeal Stout sure does, as well as constituting an entire meal - with a shot!
We added generous amounts of high-quality whiskey to this brew, and then let it mature for a few months. The result is heavily malted and rich on warming alcohol. With clear notes of whiskey, while still maintaining balance and smoothness.
Remember to tapdance responsibly.

Copenhagen 24/2 2017. 50 cl bottle from Østerbro Vin & Spritus. Typewritten label telling me that this is a limited edition and an Imperial Oatmeal Whisky Stout. With an ABV of 8,8 it can be no lesser mammal then a Hippopotamus.
Pours opaque dark brown with beige head. Settles after a while as thin patchy layer of foam.
Rich aroma of roasted malts, old wood, brown sugar, vanilla and whisky fumes.
Soft carbonation and very thick sticky oily palate.
Flavor is sugary and heavy sweet. Moderate bitterness with a light sour twist. Aftertaste is slightly sugary.
A scent of heaven but a bit heavy on the sweet side.
