Copenhagen 29/7 2017. 50 cl bottle from SuperBrugsen. As "Jubilæumsøl - Danmark-Tyskland - Europamester ’92". Big Cup Trophy with the Danish Flag in the background.
Very foamy when I pour it. Pours hazy amber with humongous white head. Settles as 3 cm thick layer of foam. Lacing en masse.
Aroma is sweet caramel and burnt toffee with a strong metallic tinge.
Low carbonation and watery palate.
Flavor is rather sweet followed by medium bitterness. Aftertaste is dominated by sweet caramel.
Beautiful to look at - but a bit flat and a tad too sweet for my taste buds. Maybe that is how it feels to win the European Championship.
