This golden ale is lightly spiced with coriander and a little orange peel, giving it a hint of Christmas, and has the characteristic flavor notes from the Belgian yeast used and the exquisite caramel malts. It is rounded off with a light bitterness.

Copenhagen 7/1 2016. 50 cl bottle from SuperBrugsen. Stilistic label just saying "24" on green background.
Pours hazy reddish brown with an off-white head. Settles as a thin layer of foam.
Aroma of sugary caramel, anis, plum, yeast and light bitterness.
Medium strong carbonation and a thick oily palate.
Flavor is quite distinct. Sweet caramel, Plum and something spicy. Medium bitterness in aftertaste which linger for a while.
Quite nice well balanced seasonal. I didn't even miss the mandatory chubby Santa on the label.
