This full-bodied Imperial Stout is brewed with 6 different malt types, a significant portion of which is oats and wheat, which gives the brew a silky smooth quality.
The brew is added a significant amount of freshly brewed espresso during aging, which gives the beer an easily recognizable mocha character that mixes with a balanced residual sweetness.
Suitable for heavy chocolate desserts, heavy meat dishes or strong cheeses, but can also stand alone.

Copenhagen 15/8 2016. 50 cl bottle from Kvickly. An appropriately dark label which is pretty hard to read. Could it be any different with an imperial oatmeal coffee stout?
Pours opaque very dark brown - almost black with a small light beige head. Settles as a very thin layer of foam.
Strong aroma of sweet caramel, milk chocolate and brown sugar intermingling with bitter coffee and a little sharpness.
Light carbonation and thick oily palate.
Flavor is heavy sweet with a medium coffee bitterness. Chocolate aftertaste stays with you. Hides the high ABV in a pleasant shower of chocolate and coffee.
I should take a shower like that more often.
