Copenhagen 12/9 2015. 50 cl bottle from Kvickly. A part of Kvicklys beer competition Ølvalg 2015. It did not win (some weird vegetable drink did). A lot of coffee beans on the label.
Pours opaque black with a flimsy beige head which disappears immediately.
Aroma is actually of coffee with a little sugar. Roasted malts. Toffee and chocolate.
Not much carbonation and silky slightly oily palate.
Flavor is nicely balanced between coffee bitterness and roasted sweetness. Lingering aftertaste dominated by coffee bitterness and something slightly like burnt rubber.
Quite ok Coffee Stout apart from the burnt rubber. But you can not get everything.
