Copenhagen 27/11 2016. 50 cl bottle from Fakta, Frederiksborgvej, Kbh NV. Purple label with the number 10 and information that this ale has been garnered with port wine.
Pours slightly hazy golden yellow with a small white head. Stable. Settles as a flimsy layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma of oranges, elderberry and Belgian yeast. Notes of caramel and tart berries.
Medium strong carbonation and slightly thick palate. Lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is lightly sweet followed by a pronounced fruity sourness. Short sour aftertaste.
Quite fresh and summerlike Belgian inspired ale.
