Copenhagen 14/8 2015. 50 cl bottle from SuperBrugsen. Raasteds take on a hunting beer with the mandatory stag in silhouet on the green label.
Pours slightly hazy dark brown with an off-white head. Stable. Settles as a 0,5 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is sweet and a bit candy-like with strong notes of caramel and toffee but also a coffee-like bitterness.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick and lively texture.
Flavor is surprisingly bitter and a little bit acidic. A little caramel sweetness for balance.
Nice Dunkel - and you should be able to hit the stag after consuming it as it only holds an ABV of 4,6 %.
