Copenhagen 8/7 2016. 50 cl bottle from Kvickly. A part of Kvickly Ølvalg 2016. Nice fat hop on the label.
Pours hazy golden yellow with a white head. Settles as a thin layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma of exotic fruit with loads of citrus and lemon and some Belgian yeast in the background.
Medium strong carbonation and a thick palate. Lightly tingling texture.
Flavor has a distinct bitterness and only a subdued sweetness. A little banana in the aftertaste together with fruity citric sourness.
A nicely executed Belgian IPA. The Best one from the Ølvalg I’ve tasted so far.
