Per the norm with Alandales brews, a rather nice frothy ivory head that would leave a lacey slug trail down the glass. Golden yellow brew.
Just some subtle notes of malt in a whiff, and the quaff was sadly deficient in the doughy/bready aspect. Pour the malts to it like ya mean it!
Very lite bodied, still pleasant to drink smooth, warm and a clean finisher. Its was just missing any real character, but the next batch could be more of an expected Vienna style.

Pours a clear amber color. 1/3 inch head with decent retention and good lacing. Smells most strongly of hops with a slight hint of malt. Fits the style well enough. Smooth, crisp, with high carbonation. Tastes of hops upfront with a strong malt background. As you drink more, the malt flavor is enhanced. There is a sweetness overall, but just a touch too watery of a body. Worth a try.

Sample at the brewpub. Pours a clear orange color with a medium thin light beige head that diminishes quickly. Latticework lacing on the glass. Mild malt and caramel in the nose with a touch of hops. Medium body with sweet malt and spice flavoring, with touches of hops and fruit poking through here and there. The finish is mildly malty with a lingering sweetness left over. Just average overall.

Clear full gold. Missing the blush of red that I usually think of when thinking "Vienna." Nice, bright white head recedes to a complete cap.
Nice clean bready malt dominates the nose. Hint of fruitiness fleshes it out a bit, but it's pretty simple and straightforward. No hint of hop.
Really nice in the mouth. There is a lot of malt depth here, but it has a wonderful lightness and clarity. Solid backbone of hop bitterness provides excellent balance and length. Nice beer!
Gentle carbonation gives a really nice mouthfeel - fills every corner of the mouth. Very drinkable stuff. I could lose a day very quickly over pints of this. Well done.
