What would you think if you went to a brewpub, and the only beers on tap were this marzen, and 3 AB products?
And the marzen was a no head lifeless looking brew, with an aroma and taste which was funky - and with a bitter wood finish?
I'd say this is probably my last review of a dead brew, from a dying brewery. Sad, actually.

Sample at the brewpub. This brew is a clear orange color with a thin light beige head that burns away quickly. Spotty lacing on the glass. The aroma is sweet toasted malt with a touch of hops. Light-bodied with a sweet malt character and mildly spiced hops in the background. The finish is toasty and sweet with a caramel and malt aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
