Traditional light lager, broadly in the Czech Vycepno Pivo style. Named after a hero of Nikolai Gogol story.
Very pale yellow color, high initial carbonation, thin head dissipates quickly.
Smell industrial, not out of beer world. Start dryish, body thin, mouthfeel quite watery, pale malts overpowered by bitter hops towards finish. Aftertaste metallic, unpleasant.
One of the worst products of Poltava brewery. There are much better Ukrainian beers of the same style.
