Shiner’s highest octane release yet, this double IPA balances immense hops and malt for a full-bodied flavor. Uniquely brewed using cactus water and a blend of American hops (Idaho 7 and citra hops), Twin Dream (9.5% ABV / 80 IBU), evokes bold flavors of citrus and pine.

A - Copper red pour with a dense layer of ivory colored foam with light carbonation.
S - Light caramel biscuity malt with hints of cactus.
T - Biscuity caramel malt base with cactus and citrus. Ends with a lingering citrus bitterness that rolls over any residual sweet malt and lingers after the sip.
M - Big medium body with prickly carbonation.
O - Nice job with this beer, I'd definitely buy this one if it were available here in Pennsyltucky!

This is a bold IPA which is expected for an imperial/double IPA. Enjoyable but heavy. Not a good beer to have with a heavy meal so keep that in mind. That being said it's a solid beer from Shiner which is a brewery I don't expect much from to be honest (sorry not sorry). Nice beer if you're an IPA fan.

Poured from a can into a pint glass. Pours red orange with a fluffy white head. Smells of floral and citrus hops. Tastes of floral and citrus hops with slight piney notes. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a very good beer.

Twin Dream has a thick, orange-tinged, off-white head and an opaque, orange appearance, with heavy lacing. The aroma is of intense citrus and barley. The flavor is of those elements, with strong bitterness. Twin Dream has a heavy body and a semi-sweet finish.

I got a couple of cans of this beer from a mixed 12pck that I bought from my local meijer store. It poured a slightly hazy copper with white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had dank citrus peel and pine resin notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with semi sweet malt base with sweet pine resin coupled with bitter citrus and hemp hop presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.

Nice cloudy, golden look, kind of like Ghost In The Machine. Juicy smell, but on the lighter side for a double IPA. Loved the flavor, citrus forward, good bitter finish. Medium body feel. Overall, would drink again as an evening finisher. Pretty strong, so not a multiple beer.

It's got a noticable, biting malt flavor that smashes head long into the strongly bitter and dense hops flavors, which are heavy to the pine and resiny, dank spectrum. High bitterness is obvious and lingers after with some residual dryness.
This is probably a dream for those addicted to extreme IPAs. But don't let any noobs drink it, lest their heads aspolode.

From a stovepipe can best by 7/15/23. Amber color with a finger of fluffy cream head. Smells of pine and cactus. Chewy feel. Big caramel malt, pine, and earthy bitterness with an astringent tea note on the finish. A good double IPA with some interesting flavor combinations.
