Poured from a can into a glass. It has a nice gold look with minimal head. A sweet fruity aroma with a thick hoppy taste

A very juicy and tasty IPA. A little heavy in the sweetness. You can taste the high abv a bit more than is ideal. Most high abv IPAs do a better job at hiding it. Enjoyable but by the time you get to the bottom of the glass you kind of want a pallet cleanser.

Poured from a can into a pint glass. Pours hazy orange yellow with a small white head. Smells of citrus and tropical fruit. Tastes of citrus with tropical notes. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a very good beer.

Shiner TexHex Wicked Haze has a thick, off-white head and a translucent, orange appearance. The aroma is of strong, harsh barley and hop resin. The flavor is of those elements, with sweetness and moderate bitterness. Wiched Haze has a heavy body and a chewy mouthfeel, with a semi-sweet finish. This is most excellent, if you can stand it.

12 oz can. canned 05/21/23.

A: Hazy sienna orange. Unfiltered with tons of flecks of sediment. Two fingers of khaki head.
S: Booze fumes, hop-derived fruitiness.
T: Caramel malt, notes of oak.
F: Boozy, heavy, astringent. Alcohol heat.

Overall, not recommended. Hate these alcohol delivery vehicles..

010824 printed on the bottom of the12 ounce can poured into a tulip glass.

Thin, white head. Opaque orange body. Big orange citrus water feel. Amazing and delicious. Perfect mouthfeel. Best style ever? Double IPA plus hazy IPA world class idea.

Poured from a can into tulip, good 2+ finger off white head, good retention and monster lacing. Hazy dark golden in the glass. Nose is rocking that overripe pineapple (similar to their regular double IPA) and other tropical notes mixed in. Taste is candied pineapple on the front, sweetness amps it up, but not cloying. More tropical notes flow thru the middle, citrus stands out, along with a touch of pine and then there is a caramel sweetness on the end. Not something I would normally want in a hazy, but man with the heavy pineapple I am somewhat reminded of a pineapple upside down cake. For 9.5 it drinks pretty light. No alcohol or heat, just a smooth sipper, but somewhat one note. I normally don't buy 6 packs of Doubles but I thought what the hell, most of these Texhex beers have been pretty good, and this one seems to follow suit

12 oz can from a pack of randos. Poured into a Tubby glass, which was a Kickstarter product that nowappears to be out of business. Too bad the logo came off in the dishwasher. I bought a second set for handwash only, but I mean, the cocktail glasses I got years ago from freakin' Things Remembered still look like the day I bought them. What the hell, Tubby? Sure, the hippo logo is cool, but when it's faded to a ghost hippo that can only be seen at certain angles in certain light, I wonder what the hell it was all about. Form follows function, yeah?

Beer's kinda meh.

I got a couple of cans of this beer from a mixed 12pck that I bought from my local meijer store. It poured a slightly hazy copper with white head that is not leaving much lace. The scent had subtle dank citrus notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with sweet malt base with citrus presence and spinach highlights. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.

Drank 6/12/23. Not sure when it was canned. The date seems to be a 'best by' of 9/22/23.
Pour is a nice copper with a huge, fluffy, slightly off white head. Excellent retention and lacing.
Nose is light tropical fruits over a caramel malt base.
Taste follows. Pretty heavy on the malt, citrusy orange rind hop character, but again, malt dominates.
Nice mouthfeel, not overly thick or sweet for a double IPA.
