Pours dark amber brown with thick 3 finger khaki foam. Sweet notes of bread and caramel malts and tight carbonization. Good brown, but great amongst its mass produced lagers while in Kyoto.

350 ml can in Nara, Japan at a temperature of about 59F.
Fine aroma of spicy hops wafting over light/medium roasted grains.
Feel: Medium body and carbonation with mild bitterness.
Overall: good version of style.

350ml Can from Daily Yamazaki, Kyoto (¥324):
Quite an enjoyable beer from Kizakura and definitely the better of the two beers from them that I've tried so far, this one seemed well balanced thanks to the caramel sweetness and subtle bitterness that featured throughout. It was an easy-going beer that came through stronger than a lot of the other Japanese craft beers I've tried recently, the boozy notes at the start of the nose being my only minor complaint with this one.
