Had at Mondial de la Biere 2007. Their Bier du Mondial.
Pours a clear orange/amber, thin white head, some lace spots, okay retention, thin ring around the glass sticks. Smell is sweet, buttery, bit of caramel, grainy bread, light fruits and citrus. Taste is nice, sweet, spicy, some bready malt, citrus, grainy bitter finish. Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied, medium carbonation, very smooth, refreshing. Nice shot at an underappreciated style, I enjoyed this!
