Purchased at Depanneur Peluso on Wednesday, August 6, 2008. Drank Saturday, August 9, 2008.
Pours a murky amber, like apple cider from the farm. Nice tan head and cascading lacing. Smells all of malt and tastes the same, which the tiniest bit of chocolate flavor. Mouthfeel is a bit carbonated and somewhat sticky. Not a bad session brew at 5% with a nice malty taste.

A - A murky brown with no head at all and some light carbonation.
S - Sour berries and chocolate mostly, quite malty.
T - Tastes strongly of cranberries and sour fruit, cherries and cloves. Some roasty notes of chocolate and cocoa powder. Fairly boozy tasting.
M - Thin and alcoholic, feels undercarbonated. Lingers a sweet taste.
D - Not great. Too malty and coating.

Bottle: Poured a deep clear brown color alt with a medium foamy head with average retention and no lacing. Aroma of huge caramel malt with some medium sweetness is quite enjoyable. Taste is dominated by some huge caramel malt with some notes of nuts and a light hoppy finish. Full body with some average carbonation. Definitely the best thing I have had from this somewhat inconsistent brewery.

Bottle:
Pour produced a clouded copper ale with a stiky cap that laced well.
Aromas of fresh biscuit malt, nuts, woody-herdal tones...very nice.
Profile" Big chew on the bready toasty malts in the front side..roasted nuts, woody-leafy nobel bite to balance...lightly drying and bitter finish.
A very well made Quebecois verson of an alt but the lingering bittering in the after taste blows the style conformity.
Medium bodied, full flavored and satisfying.
