A pilsner from Au Maitre-Brasseur... interesting.

The color is golden yellow, veiled with a nice soapy looking head. Carbonation is visible, just like a good pilsner. The foam sticks quite well to the glass too. The aroma is floral hops and citrusy which suggest this beer will be very refreshing.

On the taste side, it is floral hops. Very bitter and refreshing. Dry, effervescent. An excellent beer from this brewery.

Clear gold with an excellent head of foam. Nose is fresh grassy hop, sweet malt and a touch of honey. Smooth, full flavour with a slick body. On the sweeter side, with a bit of a herbal flavour, some grassy hay and lemon. Finishes well with a bit of resinous hop. Excellent drinkability. I really like the balance in this one. If it was more easily available to me, it would be a go-to session brew.

Golden beer with a good carbonation of thousand of bubbles bubbling around my glass. Very good head retention, a very nice head foamy creamy it is a tasty head to be honest of the best looking I've seen in a long time.

Smell is pretty boring, malt, fruity, cookie like, butter and a shy bitter hoppiness nothing to brag about.

In mouth she is very smooth and mellow, even creamy, there is some butterscotch flavours at first followed by ester and shy hops and caramel, pretty plain, but the creamy mouthfeel is sweet.

12 oz bottle picked up at Rahman.

Pours a clear light amber, some orange highlights, bit and fizzy thick white head forms, slowly settles down to a thick layer, very rocky, lots of chunks of lace stick to the glass. Smell is nice, very clean, some caramel and biscuit, some light citrus, orange peel, grassy hops, pretty basic but does the trick. Taste is not as good, very sweet for the style, grainy, some caramel, toast, orange, biscuits, bready malts, light lemony flavour, some herbal bitterness in the finish. Mouthfeel is light bodied with medium carbonation, drinkable but not very exciting.

Bottle: Poured a gold color ale with a nice big white foamy head with good retention and good lacing. Aroma of dry Saaz hops is dominant and quite enjoyable. Taste is also a nicely hoppy pils full of dry Saaz - maybe even a bit too dry for my taste - and alight malt body. Malt character maybe be somewhat missing in this one but still very enjoyable.

Another product by Au Maître Brasseur, this is a kind of home brewer that brewed a bacht only once and bottled it. They brewed almost 70 different beers so far.

341ml brown bottle

A: golden-copper colour, thin white head.
S: fresh aroma of malt and some hops. Some esters.
T: grainy, tannins, missed the mark for the style,
M: round, medium-bodied
D: easy drinking but not good enough to drink more than once
