Think I might've tried this one when it just came out but I'm not sure. I very rarely check reviews before reviewing myself but this one's negative review might've been what's kept me from buying it all this time.

A- Very dark, almost black, brown. Espresso froth brown head. Not very good retention.

S- First thing was fresh berries which was strange but then a very nice, creamy chocolate milk.

T- Thin flavour. Some milkiness but... like a 50/50 water and milk mix. Very little hoppiness. A tiny bit metallic. A little bit of a medicinal, moisturizing cream/vaseline thing going on. Alcohol is well hidden.

M- Thin. Prickly carbonation. Very dry. Swish it around and it does foam up a bit which makes it more enjoyable.

D- Easy to drink but doesn't taste too good. Half a bottle would be enough.

Not a bad beer just not very satistfying. Weak flavor and mouthfeel. If this was cheaper... (like $3.50) I'd buy some for a warm summer day. Other than that, no real desire to buy it again.

Bottle: Poured a medium black color stout with an average size foamy head with average retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of light dry roasted malt notes with some dry coffee notes. Taste is also a mix between some dry coffee notes with some light roasted malt. Body is way too thin for the style with some spritzy carbonation that is not really appropriate for the style. Not exactly something I would wish to try again.
