Bottle: Poured a hazy beige color ale with a quiet large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma consists of grainy malt with some light unrefined cereal notes. Taste is also dominated by some unrefined cereal with a grainy aftertaste wand light dry hops. Body is about average with good carbonation. I can't say I really cared for that one and the unrefined notes where not to my taste.

Simply had to buy this because of the presentation. The paper bag and the label are too much.
A- First (careful) pour: Looks a whole lot like any light macro lager. Thin white head fades away in a matter of seconds. All that is left is a white ring and a crummy looking patch in the middle. There were bubbles at first but the lightly golden liquid is now completely still. Second (full on, center) pour: Big fluffy white head you just want to bite into. Really nice. It then all disappears and looks just like the first more conservative pour. Lacing you can appreciate is a continuous strand drooping around the glass.
S- Right from the start I get a definite pear smell. Banana. Some belgian yeast. Light brown sugar. A certain discrete hoppiness. Alcohol you only start to notice it once it warms up.
T- Pretty sweet. Same elements I got from the smell but hoppier. Didn't expect this hop flavor. I am pleasantly surprised. Had it been any sweeter It'd be sickening. Good but subtle hoppy and bitter after-taste.
M- Very carbonated but it loses it quickly. It puffs up and fills your mouth for the first couple of sips then not so much. Quite viscous. Medium finish. Some more body wouldn't hurt.
D- Fun drink. You can drink lots of it. I do think that after a few you might find it a tad too sweet. I was enjoying every sip but this was after my soccer game so I might've simply been thirsty.
I think this could be a good beer to get macro drinkers started on craft beer. It is easy to drink but offers enough subtleties to get you tasting and talking.
Doesn't feel like a quality beer (well from the label this wasn't really expected) but it is a good drink.
