Hazy blonde body with a decent finger of bright-white head, leaving some lacing. Looks appropriate in my Fin du Monde tulip; a good sign.
Yeasty and astringent nose with lemon, candy malt and light spices (coriander and nutmeg). A bit dusty, lightly fruity. Could use some more presence but it does smell "correct" as a Belgian pale ale.
The first thing I noticed is a smoky note in the flavour, which definitely seems out of place. Alcohol is quite hot for 9%, showing most of its weight. Under these two noticeable flaws lies what seems to be a decent Belgian pale: fairly well-balanced candy malt, coriander, earthy hops, citrus, Belgian yeast.
Way too drying in the mouth. I feel like I was just licking sand paper or something; very rare to find a beer that dries out your mouth like this. Decent medium body and possibly a little over-carbonated.
The look and smell were on, I don't know how it falls apart so bad in the mouth. The drying and alcohol are just too much. Tone down the alcohol, get rid of the smoke, cut the drying and this would be pretty alright.

Bottle: Poured a lightly dirty yellow color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of semi-sweet Belgian malt is enjoyable enough. Taste is nice enough mix between some semi-sweet Belgian malt with light notes of dry hops. Body is quite full with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Not the most complex beer out there but well brewed nonetheless.

Served in a chilled glass.
Appearance - beer pours a hazy ale colour with a white head. there is min carbonation with some good lacing.
Smell - i can smell some earthy tones, wheat, banana's and a little citrus.
taste - found to be a very plain and simple tasting beer, didnt offer me a lot. u can pick up the smells in the taste, but nothing defined. the beer ends very dry.
mouthfeel - there wasnt a lot of added carbonation, it was pretty simple and straight fwd.
drinkability - got an amazing deal on this beer, 6 for $5.99, it was a good purchase and very happy i shared it with friends. nice day to day drinking beer, but better Belgian beers out there.

12oz Bottle
Appearance - The beer pours a murky pale gold colour with a fair size frothy/fizzy white head. I can't make out much carbonation due to the murkiness of the beer. There is some faint lacing on the sides of the glass. The head stuck around for only a few minutes before it was gone.
Smell - bananas, apples, wheat, cloves
Taste & Mouth - The beer has a lot of carbonation, lots of bubbles popping all over the place. I can immediately taste the alcohol. The most noticeable flavours are bananas, wheat, citrus, and cloves. The beer finishes with a slightly bitter woody and citrus-like aftertaste. The beer is very dry.. almost like a champagne.
Drink - A decent take on the style.. but there are far better beers out there in this category.

First taste of their new line. I have a good feeling for this new branding but only taste will tell. (Hey they've got a cellaring temp on the label. 26oC fot this one.)
This 341ml bottle bought at room temperature, I only managed to dump it in a bucket of ice water for a little less than half an hour. Should be fine.
A- White head fades fast but a tiny layer remains. Forgot to check it out before adding the yeast but the body is now an almost opaque brownish peach. Looks alright. Nothing really elegant but a good look.
S- Slightly spicy apple-banana compote. No lightness or effervescence in the smell which I was looking forward to but I must admit it smells good. Very sweet.
T- Starts with a wheaty, bready dry taste which ends and is wrapped in a sticky sweet apricot. Pretty tasty. Some grass and wood bothers or pleases depending on the sip.
M- Slightly chewy, sticky. Full mouthfeel. Medium to low carbonation.
D- Very good. I'd drink lot's of this if it wasn't guaranteed I'd be wasted.
Good job AMB. Not incredible but a good beer. I would not mind buying this again .... just lower the price a little.
