Translucent amber body with a cover of off-white head and some lacing.
Smells of caramel, roasted malt, strong minerals (iron), nice bit of lactose/diacetyl, hint of cardboard and a touch of earthy hops.
Decently balanced, with roasted malt, caramel and earthy hops composing most of the flavour. Citrusy hops seem to peek out at times, maybe they're more obvious if it's fresh.
Medium light body and moderately carbonated.
Definitely a step up from Boreal Rousse (which I made the mistake of ordering recently), though "rousse" is still not a style I enjoy too much. Doesn't stand out but doesn't offend either, I suppose it's drinkable but I won't be getting it again. If you're a fan of red-coloured beers which like to describe themselves as such, this could be worth checking out.

Bottle: Poured a clear medium amber color ale with large off-white foamy head with good retention and some OK lacing. Aroma of medium caramelized malt with some cereal notes. Taste is also a nice mix of caramelized malt with some nice cereal notes with balance sweetness. Body is average with good carbonation. Good session amber ale with limited complexity.

341 ml served in a chilled glass
Apperance - beer pours a gorgeous dark clear coper colour. There is some minimal carbonation present in this beer.The head is slightly off-white with some nice fizzy volume. There is some decent lacing occurring as well.
Smell - I can pick up some malts, caramel and chocolate to this beer.
Taste - very good tasting beer with a little bitterness at the end. The beer brings a clean taste of malts and caramel, some sweetness with a citrus bitterness at the end. Overall, well rounded.
Mouthfeel - Some nice mouthfeel to this beer, i can actually taste a dry/metal in the mouthfeel. Added carbonation brings the bitterness fwd as well.
Drinkability - I am pleased to have tried this beer and look fwd to trying more from the AMB family.

12oz bottle poured into a pint glass
Appearance - The beer pours a reddish brown colour with a medium size frothy beige head. I can see an average amount of carbonation and the bubbles are rising quickly to the top of the glass. There is also some good lacing and the head lasted for a minute or two.
Smell - First scent that hit my nose was something metallic.. next was a brown sugar smell, hops, and malts.
Taste & Mouth - A great mouth feel on this beer, the perfect amount of carbonation to suit the style. I can't really taste anything metallic, so that's good. I can taste a brown sugar sweetness, a pepper spice mix, and something woody. Also some malts and hops which lead to a nice sweet and sour aftertaste.
Drink - A nice red beer.. reminds me of a 'rickards red' on crack. If you're a fan of red beer, seek this one out and give it a try.

S- Like caramel covered strawberries. A bit of chocolate or tootsie roll. Red licorice, corn syrup.
T- Add a strong nuttiness to the smell and subtract some sweetness. Hop produced bitter after-taste takes a lot of room yet it feels soft. Soapy burp.
M- Smooth and soft. Low carbonation feels just right. Not very dry but ther is some astrigency.
D- Quite good. I guess I'd buy a sixpack. Easy to drink and all (especially thanks to mouthfeel) but a little something about the taste puts me off.
I think this would be pretty good on tap.
