Translucent straw-coloured body with a faint cover of bright-white head. No lacing. I definitely like to see a nice head on a Belgian wit.
Definite Belgian yeast character up front on the nose with a little of the expected astringency. Lemon, light coriander and sweet, wheaty malt. Nice enough, though more presence would be appreciated.
The balance is a little weird here, it feels backwards somehow. Light Belgian yeast shows but not really any of that nice astringency I would hope for. Hop bitterness is a bit high in comparison to the malt but they don't really add any character. Very light spices, wheat, a bit lemony, minerals. There's almost no flavour coming through here.
Thin body with large carbonation bubbles. Tingly hops present an overly-aggressive drying on the finish. Can't say the feel helps out.
It seems like maybe this beer was made with the right things but in the wrong ratios or something. It doesn't taste bad, it's just kind of off. Wouldn't get it again; I'd gladly take a Hoegaarden over this.

Pours a hazy gold color. A vigorous pour results in very little head, with what is created quickly evaporating.
Scent consists of wheat and coriander.
Taste is fairly straightforward. Wheat, a bit of sweetness and some spice, all in fairly low quantities. Not a whole lot going on here.

Poured from a 341ml. bottle, best before May 2011 (or June. Hard to tell where the notch lands).
Appearance: A very white head that is easily 3-4 fingers and lasts quite a while. The body is a hazy lemonade color.
Smell: Extremely faint aroma. Kind of like fruit but it's barley a whisper. Has a slight crisp aroma then poof!, nothing.
Taste: Citrus with faint spices. Maybe some orange. Not offensive but very boring.
Mouthfeel: Better than the taste. Average carbonation makes it a little lively and an average body makes it decent but it's still too bland.
Overall: Too ho-hum. There are better witbiers out there so don't bother with this one.
