Pours a vibrant, hazelnut brown color with a light beige, huge head.
Smells of died herbs, straw and rich wheat, which inherits a toffee sweetness. Offers a rustic nuttiness, once the beers initial sweetness is established, which comes along with bakers chocolate and a caramel peak.
Has a very soft mouthfeel, which appears silk on the palate with just a light effervescence at the back end.
Tastes of grain accompanied bakers chocolate with a well nuanced caramel sweetness to it. Turns a tad more oily then, revealing spicy licorice and a note of toasted malts and spent buckwheat. Finishes awesomly creamy while providing a bubbly spark, which lets chocolate and licorice blend together in an utmost enjoyable fashion.
A great Bock, which drinks outstandingly smooth, while offering a very satisfying depth, led by the chocolate-licorice interplay.
