At Max's tonight.
Damn Italians. How is an honest American like myself supposed to describe the style of a beer like this. The list at Max's says a blond style with rum added.
The beer pours a gold honey color with OK head retention and lacing. The nose is pretty mute, consisting of light honey, spice and light tartness. Flavors on the palate replicate the nose, except this beer's flavor profile is pretty light. Mouthfeel is likewise pretty light, and if it tasted better, drinkability would probably be pretty good. However, the flavor profile is really pretty bland, and I can't say I'm hugely impressed. An OK beer, but not something I can imagine ordering again.
