First entry of the Unique Brew Series.
Appearance - Pours a dark copper brown with a finger width of bubbly white head.
Smell - Sweet aroma of malts along with caramel, fig, black currant, hint of floral hops, raisin, and slight pepperiness on the nose.
Taste - Predominantly sweet malts with flavours of caramel, fig, raisin, and fruity esters. Hint of floral hops is there, providing a mild bitterness.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes sweet (not cloying).
Overall - The taste of this dubbel is fairly well done and on par with the style, however some extra work could be done to improve the appearance and smell.
