look: 3.25 | smell: 3 | taste: 2.75 | feel: 2.75 | overall: 3
Pours crystal clear, light gold with little or now effervescent but with a decent pure white head that quickly settles inot a thin skin possessing ongoing side glass lacing.
Aroma is mostly grassy with some faint malts.
Taste: About the same, this is a beer that would in a beer taste with Coor's Light and Miller Lite could eek out a victory, while not being largely distinguished from either in taste or in their style.
Thin mouth feel.
A thirst quenching beer but not much more going for it.

Pours a finger and half of head on a clear straw body.
The aroma is metallic and grainy.
The taste is sweet corn, grain and a mild metallic bitterness.
The texture is crisp and fizzy.
A Euro lager, fairly sweet.

He often credits me as the founder and creator of The CANQuest (TM), but so many of the exotic CANs on my list have come from the incomparable in-person, local trader, tone77 that he is inextricably a part of my success. Many, many thanks! This is just one example.
From the CAN: "By Appointment to the Royal Danish Court"; "Enjoyed Since 1880"; "Authentically Brewed on Pure Lager Malt."; "A Perfectly Balanced Mixture of Dry Richness, Liveliness, Sweetness and Hop Subtleness."; Deserve to Sit Back and Enjoy Responsibly."; "Timeless Quality".
Once more, a squarish tab led to a different Crack! than usual and the 50-ml CAN prevented anything more than a standard Glug to prevent overflow. The finger of foamy, bone-white head was short-lived and mourned in its passing. Color was golden (SRM = 4/5) with NE-plus quality clarity, allowing me to see through the walls and into the future. In the present, Croesus, Mammon and Midas all showed up for a taste and perhaps a takeaway CAN since it was "Pure Gold", after all. Nose had a lager-like honey sweetness and I breathed a sigh of relief. Mouthfeel was medium and the taste was of biscuit malt and lightly grassy hops. Wow! I could really get behind this if I had to. Having tried some of the other Nepalese offerings, this would be the best of the lot. Finish was semi-dry and very satisfying. I might overlook it under other circumstances, but CANpared to what else tone77 dropped off, say no more ...

Yellow golden color with a thin head with low retention.
Light aroma of bread malt and a faint herbal hop, not much in here.
Flavor of malt sweetness, a bit of a toastdness, caramel, soap, pears soaked in liquor and minerals. Hints of herbal hops. Dry and mildly bitter aftertaste.
Light body with good carbonation.
No big defects with a relatively unique taste, but it doesn't really stand out.

Had this beer while on vacation in Nepal. Poured from a 16.9 oz. can. Has a golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is mild, a bit of malts. Taste is light, some malts, mild but refreshing and easy drinking. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a decent beer, but nothing special.

500ml can. I didn't realize that this was a different beer, just because Tuborg outsourced a portion of their brewing concerns to Turkey. But it was added here by the admin, so it must be so.
This beer pours a clear pale golden yellow colour, with two fingers of puffy, somewhat caked off-white head, which renders a bit of drying soap scum lace around the glass as it quickly falls away.
It smells of gritty pale grainy, crackery malt, more than a hint of corn mash, biodiesel fumes, fleshy apple and pear drupe fruitiness, and grassy, earthy, and slightly skanky hops. The taste is semi-sweet grainy rice pudding, sodden white soup crackers, stale sour lemon, and some weedy, grassy hops. A fading touch of weirdly sweet gasohol meanders about.
The carbonation is fairly low, and weakly frothy, the body medium-light in weight, and generally smooth, nothing really getting up this one's hackles. It finishes off-dry, and mildly pithy, the initial skunkiness only present in trace amounts.
Well, somewhat better than I was expecting, but still a wan and underwhelming pale lager. Take a nod from the central Europeans, lads, and investigate the wonderful world of hops, or something, sheesh.

Quickly settling head, white in colour. Clear pale yellow hue with lively effervescence, Nice lager-esque aroma, grassy malt and slight flowery hop nose. The carbonation leaves pinprick sensations on the tip of the tongue, flavours of crisp bittering hoppiness tasted first then a semi-dry maltiness with a grassy/slightly biscuity tone. Finishes with a hop bite. Easy drinking, a nice Lager with above average hoppiness. Nicely done.

Served from a 500 ml can.
First off I will say that my review is a bit biased from the start as I haven't had any great experiences with European Lagers outside of Germany; that being said, I gave it an honest try.
A- Just like the can displays, the Lager is a pleasant, golden yellow colour; nothing special here.
S- Maybe it's just me, but I find the smell is nearly non-existent. Slightly herbal like many Euro Lagers.
T- Like many of the non-German Lagers that I have had, there is not much going on in the way of taste. A very simple bouquet that fails to impress my amateur palette. Quite hoppy at the start with a finish that is somewhat skunky.
M- The mouthfeel of this Lager has to be its best feature. Although nothing to brag about, it does have a very silky, smooth feel that is quite unusual when compared to other Euro Lagers I have personally tasted.
O- Despite the low scores for Taste and Smell, I have to say this beer is not that bad at all. It is nothing I would really consider buying again but it is worth a try if you enjoy tasting a variety of beers, like many of us who frequent this website.

White head, quite a few bubbles. Soapy, sweet and sour aroma. Taste of water and grain. Caramel notes, grainy, hay notes, white bread, fruity notes of berries, cereal, with a light bitter finish. Quite boring, but not entirely disgusting. I guess i rate most canned beer lower, they just dont seem as flavorful!!

Reviewed from notes
500mL can poured into a plastic cup.
A: Gold color like the name suggests, maybe more on the yellow side.
S: Immediately upon opening the can I'm hit with a wave of skunk smell. Wow. Smelling the poured out beer is even more nauseating.
T: Tastes like skunk. Nasty sulphurous taste, notes of rotten egg. Absolutely horrible. Worst thing I've probably ever tasted.
M: The taste was too distracting to even contemplate the mouthfeel. I'll give it the benefit of the doubt with an extra half point.
O: Skunk in a can. I never thought I would drainpour a beer, but there was no other option for this one.
Edit: Something had to have been wrong with this particular beer. This was a can so I don't understand the skunk. Perhaps I'll try it again if I see it, although it isn't likely due to this experience.
