Served on-draft in a tall 500ml glass. Slightly cloudy straw color with no head or lace whatsoever. Smells of rough grains and honey. Flavor is dominated by honey with touches of raw grain. Taste is pleasant and appropriate for the style, though missing the fresh minty flavor that is often present in kolsch. Light-to-medium body in the mouth, with moderate carbonation and a bit more weight than usual for a kolsch. Relatively easy-drinking and a nice interpretation of a relatively unusual style for a brewpub.
