Appearance: Dark brown opaque body with a khaki-colored head.
Smell: Aroma of sweet chocolate, espresso, and just a hint of anise.
Taste: Flavorful dark cocoa and roasted coffee taste with a nice honey-coated sweetness.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied, with a creamy mouthfeel and a soft carbonation.
Drinkability: Good times. Love the porters.

Served on-tap in an imperial pint glass.
Dark brown / black with no head or lacing whatsoever. Smells of strong chocolate and coffee malts with an undercurrent of alcohol-laced plums and raisins. Flavor begins with medium-sweet coffee malts and finishes with prickly alcohol and light hop bitterness. Not much happening in between. Oily medium body with scratchy carbonation and plenty (too much) of alcohol presence. Pleasant enough, but a bit pedestrian in flavor and over-strong for a porter.
