Appearance: Hazed, dark copper body with a slightly off-white head that retains fairly well.
Smell: Honey-roasted almonds and peanuts, rosy hops, light diacetyl, and sweet fruity notes.
Taste: Well-balanced and flavorful in all departments. Hops are nice and bright, maybe a bit bolder than usual for the style but not quite in colonial territory, with piney and floral tones. Malts are softer, but they add a nice fruit-juicy sweetness and hearty nuttiness. Overall, quite robust and succulent and British, with a bitter, hoppy finish.
Mouthfeel: Very creamy and smooth, yet still effervescent; chewable, medium-bodied, and mouth-filling with a clean finish.
Drinkability: A great session beer, and a good match for Mojiko's tasty pizzas.
