From notes taken 06/29/16:
Just barely copper toned golden amber, very clear with fine and sparse particles throughout. Apart from these, like brown spirits. Lemon-white head of superb retention, foamy, rocky, chunky, uneven, lacy. Aromas of resin, leaf matter, earthiness, leather, grass, lemon juice, and caramel. Extremely leathery, almost dank on palate, throughout. Also malty tartness and caramel up front. Such a lasting and powerful bitter finish, aided by strong astringency. Just a little too much for me, together. Medium-bodied, velvety to creamy smooth from start, though astringency, bitterness, and fizzing up make for gulping, smacking finish.

It's Pale Ale night, trying Ninkasi, Nebraska, and Worthy. This is the bitterest. Darkish orange amber in the Bons Voeux chalice. Modest float of foam but sprightly on the tongue. Fairly full bodied. Aromatic with some pine and a fruity note.
Dark flavors. Deeply bitter with a resiny hoppiness. Rich and a little sweet. This reminds me of a DIPA with a pineapple touch. So hoppy my lips are burning. Bold and flavorful. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at Haggens Market in Burlington.
