Served On-Tap
A — Comes off the tap quite hazy and a bit bubbly, there is a decent bit of clarity and a bit of a foamy white head that forms. Pretty nice lacing left behind, though it is a bit inconsistent.
S — Smells bright and yeasty, lots of Belgian ester tones, bit of astringency. Little bit of a hop character underneath but it is mostly yeasty and malty.
T — Much like the nose, there is a lot of Belgian yeast, and malt going on here, there is a bit of a bitter and bright hop note as well but it is mostly dominated by yeast and malt.
M — Medium-Full bodied, quite a lingering and bitter finish.
O — OK overall, a bit heavy and yeasty, but not too bad.

Glowing amber with white crust. 4
Sweet caramel malts, flowers, and spice candle. 4.25
Big chewy caramel, waxy lemon rind, nectar, then orange and papaya hops. 4.25
Mashed peach finish and phenolic linger.
Almost medium, oily, smooth. 4
Citra, Chinook, Simcoe, Cascade
Superbly balanced, fragrant, and fruity. Belgian presence is there but in check. Hops don’t overplay. I’m reminded why this is probably my favorite style, and all around skill from Ninkasi. 4.25
