Rated 5-12-2019. Don't really remember too much about this beer other than the name. I like Ninkasi as a brewer. Most of their beers are quite hoppy and well balanced and my rating indicates it was quite good.

Bottle from Albertsons. Murky, medium golden with tiny ring of head. Solid malty, bready aroma. Taste is more of the malty flavors, light citrus. Nice malt / hop balance. Overall nice feel.

22oz bottle served in pint glass. Beer pours very pale yellow with lots of suspended carbonation but only a thin white head. The aroma isn't doing much for me right now, but the flavor really is fantastic: tropical, fruity, piney, resinous, floral and sweet all at once. I am way more impressed with this beer's flavor than I can recall being impressed by any Ninkasi beer before it. All this flavor and only 60 IBUs? It checks out.

Highly recommended.

Color is clear amber with attractive circles of foam in the New Belgium snifter. Aroma of tangerine with hints of peach and a whiff of the high school gym. Surprisingly light bodied.

There is an odd flavor at first sip that made me think of spoiled fruit, but it seems to be part of the "highly sought after" hop mix. Lime peel, fermenting pineapple, and more citrus. There is a mineral aftertaste followed by moderate bitterness. It's yet another IPA but it seems like a lot of bitter hops and not very pleasurable. We're so jaded. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at Haggen Market in Burlington, Wash.

22 oz. Bomber
Best By: Nov 23 2017

Poured into a Trillium glass a pretty nice clean/clear dark golden yellow/orange color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy one-finger plus off-white head, which also leaves some sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, with some malts, nice little citrus complex (orange, tangerine). The taste is hoppy, slightly malty, with some citrus complex (orange, tangerine). Medium body, ABV hidden very well, with a nice little dry/bitter finish. Overall, a tasty brew.

Hazy gold with one finger of white head that lasts about ten minutes and leaves fine bubble lace behind.
Smell is fruity hops some pine.
Taste is fruity citrus hops dank and piney. There is a good amount of malt backbone.
Mouthfeel is medium with good carbonation. The finish is dry and bitter.
Overall a fine West Coast IPA. No date found.
