Can from Boise Co-op. Pours out a nice clear bright golden with thick fluffy head. Aroma is grain Mash, bready, biscuits. Taste is more of the grain flavors, dries out towards the back end, not as sweet as most golden ales.

One and a half finger head with a caramel glow, this one is bright for the ABV but on the lager side of the spectrum.
If you are a lover of both APA's and lagers you may really love this one as it's well executed. Even with a quick drinking the last swig or two were too funky for my liking.

12oz can - there's just something that I like about this one's label.
This beer pours a clear, medium golden yellow colour, with two chubby fingers of puffy, rocky, and mildly fizzy eggshell white head, which leaves some decent defrosting back windshield pattern lace around the glass as it evenly subsides.
It smells of gritty and grainy cereal malt, faint domestic citrus rind, a bit of generic dankness, and some plain earthy, weedy, and grassy green hop bitters. The taste is lightly toasted, bready and crackery pale malt, some mixed pome and citrus fruitiness, a bit of musty yeast, and more understated leafy, herbal, and floral hoppiness.
The carbonation is fairly tame in its bored-seeming frothiness, the body an adequate middleweight, and mostly smooth, with just a soupcon of hop bitterness maybe getting a tad handsy with my various palates. It finishes off-dry, the malt, fading frooty notes, and indistinct hops keeping up the lingering pretense.
Overall - this comes across as a pleasantly rendered version of the style, with a surprisingly (or is it unusually?) perceptible hoppy character. And yet it delivers on its promise of an easy drinkability, which always brightens my mood. Worth investigating, for all yer lawn-mowing and patio BBQ needs.

Poured into a tulip a pretty nice clean/clear dark golden orangy color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy one-finger white head, which leaves some pretty nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is malty, hoppy, with a nice citrus note. The taste is hoppy, malty, citrusy, nice little sweetness. Medium body, ABV hidden nicely, nice little dry/bitter finish. Overall, a tasty brew/thirst quencher.

Lightly hazed clear gold with three fingers of five minute head and rings of lace as the head falls.
The smell is mild toasted malt with a nice bitter bite from the twenty IBUs. The hops flavor is mostly floral slightly fruity with a tiny touch pine.
Mouthfeel is light with good carbonation. The finish is lightly dry with a fairly balanced bitter and sweet character.
Overall a delicious beer for such a low 4.3% abv. This can was about five weeks from the best by date.

Straight to my overall: Not a bad beer, as it's more of a session pale. My main complaint about this beer, was the aroma. I was unable to pull just about anything from it, except for a caramel malt base. I tasted hardly any hoppiness, mostly malt (bready) and little else. I was happy with the MF, malty smooth, little bite, and very little carbonation.
