I'd heard of Ninkasi before, so was expecting a bit more on this beer. Though since this is only the second of their beers on BA, I don't think that's enough to rush to judgement.
This beer has a very light golden color--macro lager straw--with a thin light head. Very bubbly, rising for a long time. I listed it as an APA (though couldn't confirm since their website is under construction), but there's isn't much hop in the nose. There is a bit of hop--citrusy, fruity, fairly clean. In the taste, it's a bit vegetal. A light drinker as well w/o much malt base in the beer. All in all very respectable but not mind blowing in any way.
