Galaxy Trippin' is an homage to doing things and seeing things differently. Gaze into its Rich, golden hue. Get lost a mind-bending swirl of Galaxy hop notes like Peach, Passion Fruit and papaya. Marvel and be mesmerized by its smooth and velvety finish. What do you see?

Nice fruity taste and the hops are not overpowering. Another good one from Ninkasi Brewing. 12 oz bottle from FM. A good solid IPA. Rated 3-17-2020

12 oz bottle. Pours hazy yellow gold with a medium creamy white head that goes to a thin film that laces the glass some.

The aroma is sweet sugary tropical fruit.

The flavor is sweet bready biscuit malt with some vegetal notes and some fruit with a grassy bitter finish. The mouthfeel is medium bodied and a bit watery.

Overall, not my favorite.

Bomber from Fred Meyer. Rich golden hue, light haze, creamy head leaves solid lacing.Musty, dusty, grassy hop aroma. taste brings in som nice bready malts before disappearing under the carpet of hoppy goodness. Full mouthfeel, with a nice lingering bite.

nice to see a rash of new ipa types from ninkasi, they have done some cool other stuff lately too, but this is what they do best, at least as far as i am concerned. its a bit of a shame this tasted and smelled a tad old to me, like a little oxidation was setting in, but its a different kind of expression of galaxy hops, different than what others are doing with them, maybe more aggressive, certainly more in the kettle, if this is all galaxy, its more bitter than other beers that are also. hazy, hearty, and dense, a deeper shade than a lot of its peers, frothy from the keg, but a hint of cardboard and fading hops and bitterness right away, not its best foot forward i suspect, and i am already interested in finding this fresher, if thats in fact the issue. aroma and flavor of tropical fruit, spicy hop bitterness, and a little generic malt character, substantial as they go, bold even, grassy, cooked mango and orange and guava, but its also kind of dank and weedy and bitter in the end, green and oddly malty, just breaking down some. i am still optimistic that in another context this would be great, but it really isnt right now. lots of body, some carbonation, some herbal quality, less obviously galaxy than i had hoped, and less southern hemisphere and dynamic too, like they tried to frame this hop into a northwestern ipa box, and its not ideal. ill reserve harsher judgement until next time, i need to try this one again, maybe from the bottle, and compare. not bad, but not as unique and good as i expect from ninkasi...

single 12 oz purchased from Fred Meyer in North Salem.
$1.60
Poured into the shaker pint its a traditional looking pale orange body and a nice creamy off white head.
Very nice fresh citrus hop aromas..orange peel, peach and a bit of green grape skin.
The taste is super balanced and weirdly unlike the aroma! More of the grape skin hopping and its pleasant and mildly sweet .
Mouth feel is OK..its medium but the carbonation could be stronger.
OK beer drinkable enough, but didn't blow my socks off.

Lightly hazed gold with one finger of off white head. Rings of lace form as the head drops.
Smell is fruity hops with bready malt.
Taste is green dank floral resinous with modest malt support.
Mouthfeel is medium with good carbonation. The finish is dry and medium bitter.
Overall a decent IPA.
