Pours a golden/orange color with a small head that stays for a while. Aroma is lemon/orange & malt. Taste is mainly lemon from the hop aging in the bottle. Taste is smooth. BOD 4-13-2021

Pours a pale golden straw with a finger of rocky head that dissipates to a thin ring with some lacing. Aroma of grapefruit and tangerine. Taste follows nose. Solid.

That was a weird time where both me and pops showed up with this beer the same week. Picked up at the grocery store in that $9/6 pack tier. When convenience, affordability and decent quality come together. But hey, you managed to score a rare $50 bottle of beer.
Pours a cloudy yellow, 1/2" white head. I'd call it unfiltered as opposed to say a "hazy ipa". The nose makes me think of orange, tangerine and pineapple, so I'm gonna go with some kind of Citra, Galaxy and Simcoe combination as a hop bill guesstimate.
Taste proves itself to be a worthy session ale supermarket banger. Not elite world class stuff, but totally fine serviceable drink at the river or softball game stuff. Simple, flavorful. Light pale toasted 2 row malt body. Abundant hopping. Easy going bitterness. Oh shit they tell you the hops. Well I didn't guess Mosaic or Amarillo, but I got Citra and Galaxy. The Mosaic can't be in a significant quality, that hop is too pungent to be here in any significance. But its a good beer and well worth the price of admission.

Pours a bright yellow color, hazy with a creamy white head. Smells of tropical fruit, sweet citrus aromas. The taste is not like the Sarina. It's a well-balanced brew with malt and relatively mild bitterness. A very drinkable unfiltered IPA.

12oz can from Albertsons. Bright, hazy golden, small fine head. Light citrusy aroma. Taste is also on the light side, citrusy notes, lemon, zesty. Note: this is a session IPA. Refreshing

Session IPA t
6 pack from North Salem Fred Meyer.
$8.99
Pours a semi hazy yellow body, with a nice creamy white head. Leaves nice lace,
Aromas of mostly citrus hops. Lemon and orange zest.
Taste pretty much the same as the aroma, lemon, grapefruit and a wee bit of caramel malts.
Mouth feel is just fine for what this is. Nicely carbonated and a non cloying finish,
Overall a nice low alcohol IPA

Look: Slightly cloudy yellow in color with an excitedly-forming head that settles to a lid and leaves good lacing
Aroma: Mango, pineapple, passionfruit, sugar-coated strawberries, orange marmalade, a little dank, and sweet bready malt
Taste: Follows the nose well but pineapple is the clear star here with tropical fruit notes and berries in tow. The malt ‘feel’ is there but almost nonexistent in the taste, plus the hop flavors are both quick hitting and quick fading. Lightly hoppy on the finish
Mouthfeel: Light but not quite watery, medium-high carbonation, and minimal bite and dryness on the finish
Overall: I dig it but am a little torn on this one as I suspected I could be. Given I’d call this a “session IPA,” its light malty body makes this beer a little thin for my liking but the hop aroma and flavors I find very enjoyable. I could see myself having this in the mix for a hop fix without too much ‘baggage’ on occasion but personally, I like the baggage part – malt depth/support/flavor and overall fuller body

a brand new session type from ninkasi, it has been ages since i have seen anything new come around from them. this is slightly hazy, aromatic and citrus forward, with some northwestern hop bitterness through the back half of it, relatively simple beer, but i dont need it to be any more than it is, just a drinker, and sometimes that is nice. im not sure if this is their contribution to the low calorie trend or not, if it is, the packaging doesnt make that obvious at all, it might just be a session ipa, which seem to have gone away recently in favor of the low calorie. in any event, its pretty clean to drink, has hints of orange and pineapple, and the hops are well supported by the pale malt behind them, good balance to this, flavorful for its modest strength. even though this is brand new on the shelf, it tastes and smells less than fully fresh to me, like there is some slight oxidation happening, unfortunate, and really inexplicable for a can that has a best by date in january printed on it. it doesnt ruin the beer though, this remains light despite it having plenty of character, and even though the hops arent unique to me in any way, the beer overall is solid. ninkasi always does a fine job on the hoppy stuff, this lighter one is a good addition to their lineup. more summer than fall for sure, but not exclusively so.
