Look: Red-orange in color with a dense off-white head that holds as a lid and leaves good lacing behind
Aroma: Melon, freshly baked bread, oranges, limes, floral hop notes, fruity esters, and a little caramel
Taste: Starts out with a kiss of limes and a little orange before the floral parade begins with notes of flowering cherry, rock daphne, and lilac. Melon becomes the main attraction in the middle all while malt does its thing and closes with more floral and citrus hops
Mouthfeel: Full, fairly smooth, medium-high carbonation, and a smooth and decently soft finish with a slight hop bite
Overall: I dig it. An easy-drinking pale ale from a brewery I enjoy and respect and one that is somewhat unique in its flavor/aroma profile but with the definitive malt body of an APA and the signature Ninkasi house yeast. Tasty stuff

12oz bottle, I think this is a newer Ninkasi offering, so I'm thinking its fresh - can't find a bottle date. Pours a clear gold with carbonation rising through the glass. A surprising amount of caramel and biscuit malt on both the nose and palate...crisp, melon, lemongrass...feels like this is a pretty traditional PNW pale ale overall with the amount of malt thats present.

12 oz. bottle from a 6-pack purchased from Roth's West Salem Market. Salem OR.
$9.99
Nice deep golden body ..clear, with a medium sized frothy off white head.
Good floral hop aromas. very strong. Some cantaloupe and biscuit malts.
Taste similar. But more of the melon. Very well balanced yet still quite bitter.
Good clean well carbonated mouth feel. Drying finish.
A nice clean Summer style APA.
