Served in straight pint glass. Poured a lightly hazy pale yellow with under 1/4 inch of white head that had OK retention and lacing.
The aroma had a gently soft grain profile and the hop was mostly floral with some pine and citrus in the background. The flavors were the same, smooth malt under a hop that doesn't seem to have much of a personality.
The body was nicely medium, or perhaps incredibly average. Drinkability was OK, but with such a wallflower-type presence, why bore your tastebuds? Overall, a solid brew that's worth a shot, but probably not worth the calories of having 2.

Served on tap into a shaker glass
A- Poured a clear orange color, lots of visible carbonation, soapy head left some splashy lace
S- Pretty faint aroma, some tropical hop character, but not much to speak of
T- Big graininess and breadiness in the flavor. Sweet biscuit malt character. Sweet tropical hops, mango and pineapple. Moderate bitterness
M- Refreshing, high carbonation, medium body, dry, very effervescent
O- The hop character on this beer was nice, definitely interested in trying other el dorado hopped beers. The malt bill took over this beer a little too much to really highlight the character of the single hop though.
