16oz pint - a so-called 'Snowbird' offering, made with Matueka hops, among others.
This beer appears a slightly hazy, pale golden yellow colour, with one skinny finger of wispy and bubbly dirty white head, which leaves a bit of weeping foundation lace around the glass as it quickly melts away.
It smells of gritty, grainy pale malt, apples and pears, ethereal muddled citrus, the streets after the rain, and faint earthy, leafy hops. The taste is bready, mildly crackery pale malt, corn syrup notes that I am certain are only in my head, underripe pome fruit, somewhat phenolic yeast, and more leafy weedy, and faintly floral hops.
The bubbles are kind of restrained in their weakly-rendered frothiness, the body a decent middleweight, and mostly smooth, the hops (or the yeast) not really up for causing unnecessary strife here. It finishes off-dry, the very lager-y malt carrying on with its sweetness shenanigans.
Overall, better than yer typical macro swill, obviously, however not much is made of that 'stature' after the fact. Plain, and easy enough to drink, especially if you're not expecting all that much - so colour me content, I suppose.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
