not a true berliner of course, but we still dont have a category here on BA for generic kettle sour ales, so this is likely closest to correct from the given options when adding a beer, definitely not a wild beer. in any event, its a cool one, a fruited strong sour with a hazy pink look to it, packed with fruit, although i dont know if any of it is grapes or not, despite the name. it smells and tastes more like a mix of raspberries and cranberries, tangy and tart, a little jammy sweet, and acidic enough to be clean in the finish without being too sour to drink. its tasty stuff, relatively ambitious compared to what other beers i have had and seen from these guys, and is dangerously drinkable at this strength. there is a floral element to this that almost seems like it has to be hibiscus, especially with the color here, but its not real perfumy or anything, and goes away as quickly as it comes up. lots of lemony character to the tartness, very dry on the finish, and sort of generic fruity without any true identity to it, but i still am having a hard time seeing it as grape, if there is any in here, its overwhelmed by others, at least on my palate. if anyone has any details about what all is in here, please share, the bartender was particularly unhelpful at their beer hall when i asked. the carbonation is nice, it never feels as strong as it is, light on the malt taste even though there is some haze and protein in here, wheat likely. enjoyable brew here.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
