The colour is gold with a hint of orange; the liquid is somewhat hazy. The low head quickly disappears into a thin off white ring.

The medium strong smell got notes of yeast, fresh fruits and a mild bitterness. It is very Belgian.

The taste is clean and a bit bitter. Some dried fruits and a mild sweetness in the background. Earthy notes of yeast and a hint of iodine. The body is surprisingly weak for a 7% beer. The aftertaste got notes of fruit jam, minerals (chalk), yeast and some gentle bitterness.

The carbonation is medium-mild, the small bubbles smooth. The liquid is thin.

Thin body, thin liquid... Is this the house style of Sigtuna (I recognise it from other Sigtuna beers), or is it another infection on its way (something that also is a common problem when it comes to bottled beers of this brewer)?

Short description: This is a Belgian style pale ale brewed for the Easter holidays. Brewed with coriander.

A: Very cloudy, orange/amber color. Pours a rather small 2 cm white and uneven head. The head dissipates quickly and leaves a small ring of lacings around the edges of the glass.

S: Mostly sweetish aromas. Lots of fruit (orange, peach, banana). Something reminiscent of fruit-flavored ice pop. Coriander, general spices, yeast. It's a rather pleasant smell, although it's a bit one-sided in favor of sweet fruity flavors.

T: Plenty of sweet flavors. Again, that sensation of fruit-flavored ice pop appears. Orange, peach and some banana (but not as prominent as in the smell). A fairly solid malt base. Caramel. Coriander, earth, yeast. Hop flavors are moderate. In the middle, a faint tart note appears. In the finish there is a minimal bitterness, toffee-like malts and spicy alcohol. Towards the end, the beer opens up a bit and the spices (especially coriander) and alcohol become more prominent.

M: Medium body, slightly sticky texture. The level of carbonation is way to low, and this makes the mouthfeel slightly dull.

D: This one came out slightly uneven to me. The smell is good and pleasant, but unfortunately the taste can't really keep up with it. It's too restrained, and most importantly too focused on sweet flavors. It lacks big and bold flavors that can back this up and balance everything out. And, as noted, the level of carbonation is way too low. Towards the end, the beer almost goes flat.
