Cara & Larry Stauffer run a small brewery at their winery. Three beers were on tap a Raspberry Ale, Kolsch and Red Ale. They have a beautiful location about 10 miles from Jeff. City
They provide Microbrewery and Winery tours. The site has a nice hiking trail that goes about a mile down to the Missouri River bluffs. Lewis and Clark marked this location on the river by a large "Bull Sack" rock that is atop the bluff behind Bull Rock Brewery.
A chef, Curt Barrows cooks up a fine meal or light lunch to go with your beer.
Bring your own growlers. and call ahead for tours as the Stauffers have a lot of chores to do through the week. Best bet to find them around is weekends.
Wait staff very friendly and knowlegable about beer and wines.

Visited on a Saturday afternoon. The place looked like a typical Missouri winery (which this doubles as). When we came in, we waited a few minutes before someone came out (they open at 11:30 and we were there right at 11:30). The guy working was very friendly and gave us each free samples of their four beers: Oatmeal Stout, Kolsch, Raspberry Ale, and Irish Red. The beers were all average with the exception of the Irish Red, which was surprisingly pretty good. (We also sampled a couple of the wines.)
We sat down and ate lunch, and it was pretty good. The service was prompt as we got our meals within a few minutes of ordering (we were the only ones there, but it was still pretty fast). The guy chatted with us for awhile, we ate, and I grabbed a couple of growlers to go and a bottle of wine for the wife.
Bull Rock isn't a destination brewery, but if going with a wine lover and you want to have some beer as well, this isn't a bad place to hit up if in central Missouri.
