A vigorous pour yields a finger of head, which quickly disappears with no lacing. Color is a golden blonde, with some amber. Smell is yeast, some citrus, clove, and just a hint of banana. Taste is some banana at the front, followed by a little pepper, and some apple at the finish. Very smooth. Could use some more carbonation, it would make this beer a little more bright. I've had it at the brew pub and thought it was lacking a little in the carbonation department as well. Drinkability is very good with this one. It goes down exceptionally smooth, had it more carb I would have rated the drinkability higher. Overall a pretty solid brew from an underrated midwest brewery. I will definitely drink this again.
