A - gold, very light, almost like a macro "pilsner", little head

S - sweet malts, some banana, some spice.

T - sweet, some banana, alcohol, like a lot of heat, and a nice slightly bitter finish which balances the sweetness well

M - medium, little carb and the alcohol is pretty drying

D - shit, pretty damn good even though it is hot as hell

Review #666. Many thanks go out to Lukafer for this growler. Luke you made me very happy with this one!

A- Pours a brownish color with golden highlights. No real head poured and there is some whisps of foam that float on the top of this beer. No lacing at all on the glass.

S- There is a toasted malt in the front of this that I didn't expect. A light fruity banana aroma comes in the middle with some sweet bready malts. There is yeast and clove toward the ending with a huge alcohol presence. The aroma is pretty complex yet still hot that could be mellowed a little by sitting on it.

T- Nice sweet malts in the front with a bready kind of flavor as well. Banana and clove come into play in the middle with a sweet sugary flavor. Yeasty flavors toward the end with some very hot alcohol in the ending.

M- Medium heavy mouthfeel. Carbonation was low for the beer but it works well. Banana and alcohol are left on the palate with some hot sugary alcohol in the aftertaste. Balanced for the most part and clean. Alcohol very drying on the palate after each sip.

D- This beer was one that grew on me. The first couple of sips I didn't know what to expect but it came out very good. The alcohol being a little hot I didn't care for but got used to. I wish they set more back to see how it ages with a year or two on it. Barley Island made a fantastic beer to help celebrate this devilish milestone!
