From a sampler: This beer pours a dark brown color with a ruby tint. Medium-thin beige head and sticky lacing at the top of the glass. The aroma consists of coffee and burnt chocolate. Medium-bodied and smooth with a decent mixture of coffee, chocolate and malt flavors. The hops come through pretty well in the finish. Overall this is a well-balanced and fairly well-done Porter.

When this beer was poured, the head was medium sized, tan and it consisted of fine-medium bubbles. The body was black and the nose was malty and hoppy. The lacing was good with this beer. The flavor was that of roasted coffee and the mouthfeel was smooth.

This porter pours a dark brown with ruby-tinted edges. A small khaki head presents itself atop the liquid for a while, but all-too-quickly disappears. Smell is quite buttery at first, with some subdued roasted aromas presenting themselves later. Taste is of mildly roasted malt and coffee at first, but opens up into more complex flavors as the porter warms up a bit, featuring subdued notes of chocolate and espresso. Mouthfeel is thin and watery for the style. This is a fairly unremarkable porter.

Brown amber with a thin tan head. Leaves some nice lace on the glass. Aroma of coffee and bread dough... kind of yeasty smell. Flavor is kind of one dimensional... a lot of coffee... bitter with no real balance. A bit thin with medium carbonation. Not really something I'm likely to look for. A pretty unimpressive porter.
