I lived in the closest condo building to the new waterfront complex; the Rose Nolan Building. James Squire wasn't very busy at that time. I spent many an afternoon there, drinking good beer and doing work on projects for my MBA. It's a nice place. Sort of sterile in a "brand new establishment" sort of way, but that's to be expected. Great views of the harbor. Nice, comfy furniture, a fantastic upstairs and nice new pool tables, as well as a brewhouse.
The beer and the food is typical of the quality that you find at the other James Squire establishments on Russel Street or in Sydney. Prices are typical James Squire as well.
I look forward to going back for my 10-year graduation reunion!
